Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative

Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative Inc. was incorporated in 1937 to provide electricity to rural areas of Central Texas.  The Co-Op has over 14,500 members and over 19,600 meters served by over 3,500 miles of line.  The service territory of the cooperative spans across the following counties:  Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Hamilton, McLennan and Milam.

We provide a quality electric service at a reasonable price, bringing vital services to increase both the quality of life and economic health in the Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative service area.
